SYNERGY GROUP STEPS UP EXPANSION PLANS

Synergy Group, an established and growing business based at Hillington Park, is undertaking a significant expansion following its move into a 15,544 sq ft modern industrial warehouse at 4 Jubilee Court.

The lifting specialist, which has operated from Watt Road on the estate since 2019, provides crane hire and contract lifting services across Scotland and the wider UK.

Scott Allison of Synergy Group said: “Our move to 4 Jubilee Court marks an important step in the company’s ambitious growth plans. The new facility will support the expansion of our SPACE division, providing additional office accommodation, substantial warehouse storage and parking for our growing workforce and fleet.

“Location is a strategic choice for us. Being based at Hillington Park, a prime industrial location in Scotland’s largest city with immediate motorway access, gives us the connectivity and operational strength our clients depend on.”

The business will retain its Watt Road premises as the base for its training division, offering a wide range of courses both to external and internal teams. Synergy Group now employs more than 50 people across its operations, including its industrial division and their new Traffic Management division which launched in 2025.

The unit recently underwent a £1.3m reinstatement programme that included cladding replacement and recoating, a new warehouse floor surface, sectional overhead loading doors, fully refurbished offices, LED lighting throughout and upgraded services. Gas heating was removed and replaced with air source heat pumps, improving the building’s EPC rating from D to A+.

Derek Aitken, Senior Asset Manager at Hillington Park, added: “4 Jubilee Court was built in the late 90’s and our focus once it became vacant was to reinstate it to as-new condition so we had a really high quality unit to market for lease at a time when there is low availability of new build space. We’re delighted to have secured a letting to Synergy Group, an existing occupier, and facilitate their expansion as they embark on the next phase of their ambitious growth.”

Hillington Park is home to more than 500 organisations employing over 8,000 people. Located two minutes from the M8, seven miles west of Glasgow city centre and three miles from Glasgow Airport, the Park benefits from strong road, bus and rail connectivity.
