Commando X-Fit is no ordinary gym. Founded by former Ross McGaffney, a former physical training instructor for the Royal Navy, Commando X-Fit specialises in correct methods of functional fitness and strength and conditioning. With over 16 years of experience in the military, Ross helps motivate members to achieve their individual fitness goals whatever their style.

Having been based on the park for over a decade, Ross and his team have brought life and energy to Hillington, as well as new and improved facilities with the most recent addition being a 5G AstroTurf pitch for 5 a-side football. From coaching camps to pitch hire, Commando Soccer has it all. Keep active and join part of the local community!

With over 500 businesses currently based at Hillington Park, and many of them based here for many years, it’s inevitable that there will also be individuals that have worked here for most, or perhaps all, of their careers. One such person is Jim Hodge who has worked for international refrigeration specialists J & E Hall since 1983.

More than 500 businesses proudly base themselves at Hillington Park, with many successfully trading from the estate for many years. Scope Bathrooms has been on the estate for 25 years and we caught up with its General Manager, Derek Miller, to find out more about the business and its plans for the future as it marks its silver anniversary on the Park.
